Our History…

Welcome to LCR Construction!  We are locally owned and operated, since 1994, by life-long Beaufort resident, Leland Rentz.

LCR has been providing the Lowcountry with dependable, reliable site-prep work for commercial and residential construction sites.  Our services include land clearing, grading, demolition, contract grinding and full cycle mulch producing.  We also deliver our mulch and screened topsoil, fill dirt, various aggregates and masonry sand. An added convenience for our customers, is the blower system installation of our products by our “Lowcountry Mulch Express Service”.

We value our quality of work and manner of workmanship, contributing to our local community and doing our part to help the environment in which we live. We are fully licensed and insured and welcome the opportunity to provide you with an estimate for your project.

Our Story…

Our goal was to better serve the community in which we worked and lived.  Dedication to our environment led to the purchase of equipment that would aid in the combined effort for recycling.  This step would allow us to recycle land clearing debris into other usable products saving space in our local landfills.  Since then we have gone a step further by producing an alternate form of fuel.  Our wood by-products will run area mills in place of fossil fuels, benefiting everyone.  Did you know a tree taken down in your yard can come full circle and fuel a plant that processed the plywood to build a house for your neighbor; extending to the paper we write on or the paper used to carry in groceries for your family.  This circle of recycling is never-ending and there is room for everyone to join.  We are proud to be a part of a process that will have a direct impact on our surroundings as well as create a brighter future for all.  From our family to yours!
